What Can Be Reported On Your Building On 311

NYC’s 311 started off as a phone service that members of the public can call to access information about the city. Now there is also 311 online services.

Any member of the public can call in or log an online complaint based on many building-related matters. The following are some of the categories of noncompliance that can be reported:

  • Mold
  • Garbage Collection
  • Bed Bugs
  • Power Outage

  • Illegal Parking
  • Blocking Driveway
  • Abandoned Vehicle

Street/Sidewalk

Public Health/Safety

  • Garbage Collection
  • Garbage Storage
  • Rodents
  • Food Safety
